There are three ways to update the firmware on the Danalock V3 devices:
Danalock, Danapad, Danabridge, and Universal module V3.
Danalock App (Recommended)
If you are using the Danalock App we recommend that you use this app to do the update.
Find the firmware option in the lock settings or the firmware option for the accessories, Danapad and Danabridge, in the accessories settings menu.
Danalock Toolbox - For users that don't use the Danalock app in their setup
Do the update through our dedicated app "Danalock Toolbox" which you can find in both the iOS and Android app stores.

nRF DFU App (Only for advanced users)
You can update the firmware of your Danalock devices by using the app from nRF called "nRF Device Firmware Update" or "DFU" once installed.
Download the firmware file from our website, then download the nRF app. Remember to download the firmware files to the phone that you will be using during the update process.

Further update information
Devices with constant purple, red, or orange LED
If your device shows a constant purple, red, or orange LED, the lock is stuck in an upgrade mode. Click here to get your device working again.
For HomeKit locks
To update a HomeKit lock, you'll need to use the Danalock app on your iOS device or the Danalock Toolbox app as described above.
For Zigbee locks
The main module in your Zigbee lock is updated as described in the text above, but to update the Zigbee module of your lock, you can find more information but clicking the button below.
For Z-wave locks
No update options for the Z-wave module in the Danalock Z-wave locks are currently available.
