These are the step we need You to go through to manually unpair the DanaPad v3.
We do not need the originally paired lock - but we will need to use another lock that is not registered to a user or in the app.
- First, check if Lock FW is 0.16.0
- Then you need to delete the lock from the app. This enables it to be able to enter pairing mode manually.
This can be done from Device (settings) and delete device (Icon red bin)
You will need to be beside the lock.
After this, your lock is back to the factory and will not be found in the app.! Pin codes on the lock will also be deleted
! The app will not be used for the next steps. - Place the Danalock and DanaPad at a close distance from each other - 30 to 50 cm.
- Then click 7 times on the click command button on the lock (little hole on the top of the lock)
And it will flash red and green. - Press and hold down unlock button for 5-8 seconds and the LEDs on the pad will flash red/green, now press 1 on the pad and the flashing will slow down and then stop. The Flashing on the lock will also stop
This will force a paring between the Danalock and the DanaPad - regardless of any old pairing to another lock.
- Then click 7 times on the click command button on the lock (little hole on the top of the lock)
And it will flash red and green. - Press and hold down unlock button for 5-8 seconds and the LEDs on the pad will flash red/green, now press 2 on the pad and the flashing will slow down and then stop.
The Flashing on the lock will also stop
This now removes the pairing between the Danalock and the Danapad. - Then restart the pad by reinserting a battery.
(We have heard that sometimes the pad will not be visible in the app for 15-30 minutes after the unpairing. We cannot recreate this). - After this both lock and Pad can be installed and set up in the app again - including pairing.
Go to Menu and New Device and add the lock, give it a name, remember to calibrate the lock again, and set time zone (Time zone is important)Then add the DanaPad again, pair it with the lock, and set up the pin codes again.
